Meet the local tribe every Thursday and Saturday develop an awareness of the diverse aspects of contemporary Aboriginal culture. Witness and participate in traditional song and dance passed down over many generations, fire starting techniques, and the playing of Aboriginal musical instruments. Share in additional activities such as boomerang throwing, message stick paintings, and face painting, clap sticks painting and traditional food tasting. Since the group’s formation twelve years ago, the Yuggera Aboriginal Dancers have wowed audiences in Australia and throughout the world. Audience members range from Queen Elizabeth II to the street children of Asia. It is an opportunity not to be missed! Bookings are essential. Riverlife Mirrabooka also offers private group sessions for 20 plus people. Packages for off-site performances and performances linked to a private Riverlife function are also available.
