Rendezvous Hotels International Pte Limited is a subsidiary of The Straits Trading Company Limited (Straits) www.stc.com.sg

Straits was incorporated on 08 th November 1887 in Singapore. Through the years Straits has grown to become a corporation with various business activities that include investment advisory and fund management, property development and investment as well as hotel development and management, media advertising and tin smelting. Straits are listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange and its major shareholders include the Overseas Banking Chinese Banking Corporation Limited and The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited.

Mr Norman Ip graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science, London and is a Chartered Accountant by training. Mr Ip was working in Ernst & Whinney (now known as Ernst & Young), Singapore, an international firm of public accountants, prior to joining the Straits Trading Group as the Chief Accountant. He is presently a Director as well as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the holding company, The Straits Trading Company Limited. Mr Ip also sits on the boards of a number of public listed companies in Malaysia and Australia.

Mr Alan Featherby is the Chief Executive of the Rendezvous Hotels International Pte Limited. Alan has been Chief Executive of Rendezvous Hotels International Pte Limited since 1997. Prior to Rendezvous, Alan was Chief Operating Officer for Radisson Hotels in the Asian Pacific area including Indonesia , Malaysia and Australia. He joined Radisson in 1989 from the Four Seasons Hotel Group where he was Group General Manager. Alan has a Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne , and is a Chartered Accountant.

Ms Victoria Tse is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Straits Trading Group of companies. Mrs Tse graduated with a B.Sc. (Econs) from the London School of Economics and Political Science and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She also holds a Master Degree in Finance from City University as well as a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of London. She worked as an Auditor and subsequently as a management consultant with international accounting firms prior to joining the Straits Trading Group in 1987.

Mr Aik Hong Tan joined the Straits Trading Group in January 1993. Between 1994 to 1997, he was the Deputy General Manager for the Group's hotel in Perth , Rendezvous Observation City Hotel. He returned to Singapore in 1998 to open Rendezvous Hotel Singapore and was the General Manager until mid 2005 when he took up the position of General Manager for Rendezvous Observation City Hotel. Aik Hong served in various capacities in a number of industries including banking, property, trading and manufacturing. He first began his career as a project analyst with DBS Bank. Aik Hong is a B.Eng. (Industrial & Systems) graduate from the University of Singapore.
