Rendezvous Hotels & Resorts International was born out of a single minded vision. To build a new hotel group committed to creating an exceptional hotel environment equaled only by a culture and philosophy centred on service and genuine value.

At Rendezvous we adopted the mythical dragon to reflect our vision. A timeless icon symbolising good fortune, happiness and the potential to accomplish great things whilst never ceasing to enchant and stir the imagination.

Rendezvous Hotels & Resorts International is representative of the new breed of hotel management operator who has a philosophy of delivering high quality services to guests with the new management practices of the 21st century.

The expansion strategy for Rendezvous is strategic growth based on the availability of quality locations and the construction of quality developments. In building our group, we are committed to ensuring that each venture reflects the visions and values of the group, and enhances the portfolio of properties.

All hotel management within our group display a "hands on" approach to ensure that customer service expectations are delivered. Guest service benchmarks are established in all departments with the guest comment card being used as a means of measuring our success in achieving our service standards and benchmarks.

Reflective of this, Rendezvous Hotels & Resorts International won the coveted Davidson Trahaire Corpsych Award for Employer of Choice (more than 1,000 employees) at the 2006 Australian HR Awards, which crosses all industry sectors. The Employer of Choice Award recognises Rendezvous' innovative strategies to attract, retain and develop top talent in the pursuit of operational excellence and the maintenance of our people's wellbeing. Winners of these awards in 2005 included Microsoft Australia, Promina and Macquarie Bank. Nominated alongside nationally recognised companies such as Freedom Furniture and HBA Health Insurance, this award is a major honour for the Rendezvous brand and its HR team. Rendezvous was also a finalist in the The Vurv Award for Best HR Strategic Plan and The Talent2 Award for Best Talent Management.
